Downtown Parking

Introduction

Fayetteville offers a variety of parking locations and options near the Downtown Square and Business District. To learn more about this area, please refer to our map.

2-Hour Free Parking

Two-hour free parking is available on the Downtown Square. Two-hour parking allows patrons to park for up to two consecutive hours within a four-hour time period. You must leave the Square on or before two hours have passed from the time you first arrived. You may not return to the Square until four hours have passed from the time you first arrived. This ensures that these spaces are made available for customers visiting the area businesses and restaurants.

Short-Term Parking

Short-term parking is metered parking for up to two hours at a rate of 25 cents per hour (coins only).

Long-Term Parking

Long-term parking is metered parking for up to 10 hours at a rate of 25 cents per one hour and 40 minutes (coins only).

Municipal Parking Deck

The Municipal Parking Deck, located behind the Chancellor Hotel, allows visitors and downtown employees to park at any time for a small fee. You must pay $4 for covered parking on the first level and $3 to park on the third level (pay as you enter for both levels). The second level is reserved for parking program participants.

Town Center Parking Deck

The Town Center Parking Deck allows visitors and downtown employees to park at any time for a $4 entry fee. A coupon code may also be purchased in advance for as little as $1.33 per "use" (1 "use" per entry required). You may also obtain a parking card for unlimited entry into the deck through the parking program.

Employee Parking

Downtown employees may participate in any of the city's parking programs for a monthly fee. There are over 2,000 spaces available through these parking programs and are available on demand and on a wait-list basis.
